How Howard Connect Academy's Lottery Works

Howard Connect Academy is an open enrollment school. Howard Connect has a specific number of seats available for grades six, seven, and eight for the 2023 - 2024 school year.  Hamilton County Schools will open the application process from November through January 2023. All applications must be submitted by January 31, 2023.

Hamilton County Schools runs a lottery which determines the order in which students are granted admission into Howard Connect Academy. Once all available seats are filled, names are placed on a wait list and will be admitted if a seat becomes available.

Preference is given to siblings of Howard Connect Academy enrolled and admitted students.
